In her years of ministry to the Diocese of Dodge City, Sister Virginia Pearl, CSJ, has touched Catholics of all ages and walks of life. As an elementary school teacher, she inspired children and encouraged their self worth. In her current ministry, Sister Pearl brings hope and a spirited rapport to the men, women and children in need of healing at the Larned Correctional Mental Health Facility, where she has been chaplain for the past 20 years. Also, as a descendant of the Potawatomi Indians, Sister Pearl serves as a passionate advocate for the Native American community in the United States.
